Honda Australia has never imported the Africa Twin to Australia even though it would seem to be the ideal bike for our country. When asked about this Honda Australia cites the sales of both XLV 750's and Transalp's which did not sell very well here and were both discontinued after 2 years. There are approximately 20 Africa Twins in Australia, all are private imports brought into the country after Aussies have owned them overseas and brought them home or occasionally an overseas traveller will bring an Africa Twin to Australia for a holiday and sell the bike before returning home.
